The Heartbeat

We have seen that people learn best by observing and pitching in (LOPI). But how do we organize this in today's world?
In Colearning, we use a model that maps the flow of life and learning into three zones:
- The Tribe (Being & Safety): "I am seen." The foundation is belonging and psychological safety. Without this ground, no one dares to step out of cover. Here we recharge, here we find our role.
- The Hunt (Doing & Responsibility): "I am needed." This is where "pitching in" happens. We simulate nothing. We work on real projects with real risk. Learning here is the inevitable consequence of doing.
- The Campfire (Understanding & Distilling): "I pass it on." We don't hoard knowledge. We return, reflect on our experiences, and share them as commons with the community.
The Heartbeat: These zones are not a linear program to work through. They form a daily rhythm. Colearning is healthy when this movement flows: We observe (Tribe), we set out (Hunt), we return (Campfire), we rest (Tribe).
