Self-Learning in Community
Colearning is self-learning in community.
We create convivial places of learning in the midst of life.
Places for encounters across generations and differences.
Free spaces where people can flourish.
We shape the world and make our experiences visible.
And so people learn from people – incidentally, playfully, with real joy.(Colearning-Vision)

We stand at a historic turning point that calls for a fundamental rethinking of education, work, and community. Colearning is not a pedagogical instruction manual, and it's not another reform paper for existing institutions. It is the design of a new social architecture.
Colearning breaks with the industrial logic that treats learning as a separate, time-boxed phase of instruction – something you "finish" before real life begins. Instead, it reconnects us with how humans have learned for millennia: right in the middle of what's happening, driven by the needs of life, embedded in a community.
People aren't split up by age; they learn, work, and grow together. Education here is neither a consumer product nor prescribed medicine, but a commons – something we shape together and share with one another.
