Licence and Sharing

Colearning is open by design: take what fits your context, build on it, and share what you develop. We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence (CC BY-SA 4.0) so that this knowledge remains freely accessible.

The licence means: you may copy and redistribute the material in any format or medium, and remix, transform, and build upon it – under two conditions:

• Attribution: You give appropriate credit and indicate the licence.
• ShareAlike: If you remix, transform, or build directly upon the material, you distribute your contributions under the same licence.

Connect with others and feel free to let something flow back (for example through donations, other contributions, or your own involvement). This is not a licence obligation but an invitation. If you are unsure how to use Colearning or how to support the Colearning movement, get in touch with us.

The People Behind the Framework

Editing & main text: The framework was brought into its present form, structured, and written by Marco Jakob. Text contributions over many years, conceptual design, and critical feedback came from Fredi Zumbrunn. His contributions and ideas have decisively shaped the DNA of this framework.

Impulses, practice & strategy: Important strategic decisions, ever new impulses, and hands-on engagement came from Paula Duwan, Christoph Schmitt, Sibille Tschanz, Tom Bucher, Hermann Flükiger, Joris Schwarzenbach, Ben Zaugg.

Colearning community: Many more people carried, enabled, moderated, repaired, planted, cooked, and organised on site – and thereby made Colearning into what this framework describes in the first place.
